When you need to car jack somebody, they will be easy to remove from the car as they're driving without their seatbelt.

If it suits the narrative, one punch will knock out the attacker.
But, if it suits the narrative, the attacker will take repeated hits to the head or face and just keep going.
And said hits can come from a rock or log or whatever.

If you shout loudly enough and threaten them with losing their jobs, all guards and gate staff will let you through without further question.

The US government is completely corrupt, whilst being completely trustworthy.
Everyone in the FBI/CIA/NSA/police is corrupt, whilst being completely trustworthy.
All other governments are not trustworthy and are completely corrupt.

You can't trust anyone, well... except that one person who you can *definitely* trust.
Until you can't, obviously.
Movie trope #10:
When inching across a precarious ledge or path which is high up and dangerous, one rock or stone must fall out to either scare the character or alert someone to their whereabouts.
Movie trope #9:
When walking someone towards a dangerous and unknown situation, you must give them the most vital information right before you thrust them into said situation. That vital information must then be hard to hear or understand.
"Oh, and don't forget to..."
"What? What was that?!"

If someone is working on a secret file, this secret file must be left somewhere visible for someone else to find and expose their secret.
Movie trope #14b: when urgently trying to convey something to someone whilst under direct time pressure, the other person most both not understand the urgency and ask lots of useless time-sucking questions to add to the urgency and tension.
You know, like they forget to human.
Movie trope #1:
The good guy must always believe that the bad guy is dead and just walk away.
Only for said bad guy to miraculously get one last chance before being finished off.
And no one ever learns from it.
Movie trope #26:
When fighting on a moving vehicle, someone must be threatened by the geography of a tunnel or post or overhead lamp or feature that will injure our hero of they don't prevail.
Movie trope #24:
When trying to secretly take a child away from a bad situation, the child must not understand how to remain quiet or the importance of it.
Or the child will do something stupid, or suddenly need the toilet.
In fact, just about anything that wouldn't happen in real life.
Movie trope #22:
Any old friend of yours will end up selling you out for their own gain.
No matter what you've both been through...
Movie trope #21:
The "good guy" will always almost lose the fight to the bigger, stronger guy before either
1. Rallying to a surprise win, or
2. Having someone come to his rescue*
Because good must prevail.
*Which will both fail and succeed depending upon how good the good guy and how bad the bad guy.
Movie trope #17:
No matter what bad thing is going on, he will always let his judgement be clouded by his love for the woman.
Even if she double-crosses him.
Repeatedly.

Movie trope #14: make it clear that there is no time to explain, then stop for a prolonged conversation or rescue attempt or final kiss etc.

Any new/dangerous tech will be used positively by the good guys but negatively by the bad guys.
And it must be kept from the bad guys.
But the good/bad guys are interchangeable based on needs/story/plot
