Here is some advice for cat parents moving to a new home, as gross as it sounds keep some used cat litter and sprinkle it (if your baby is allowed outside) in the garden so that their scent is in their new environment, insure cat flaps are installed prior to letting the cat out, stock up on their favourite food and don't clean their bedding, keep things with their scent on it unwashed as a security blanket. After the downsizing and several visits to my favourite Swedish emporium, #ikea, we now have everything we need ordered except for a very few, non-urgent bits. Fabulous. Now got to put them all together in correct rooms. After that, will decide on rugs, curtains and paints.
