Right, I'm in the process of moving. I've just exported a CSV of all the people I'm following so I can re-follow, trying to make sure I don't leave behind anything in the move! :-)

Es gibt meines Wissens bei Mastodon _keine_ Möglichkeit, Toots vom alten auf den neun Account umzuziehen/mitzunehmen. (Es gibt den genannten Download, aber keine "Upload".)

Wozu auch?! Der alte Account mit allen Toots ist ja weiterhin da; die Toots sind auch schon überallhin förderiert; beim Neu-Upload würde das ja alles doppeln...

Klar, Nachteil: Interaktionen mit dem alten Toots bekommst du im neuen Account nicht mehr mit; ich hab für mich die Lösung gefunden, dass ich von Zeit zu Zeit in den alten Account reinschauen (den redirect habe ich wieder rausgenommen, stattdessen nur einenn pinned toot gemacht.

Was mir am #mastodonguide von @AnarchoFox noch aufgefallen ist: Der #Instanzwechsel wird als super-easy ("problemlos", "mühelos") dargestellt:

"kannst du dein Konto problemlos auf eine andere Instanz migrieren"
+
"die Instanz mühelos wechseln" .

Ich will dem nicht widersprechen, aber ein paar Schritte sind es schon. Unter https://todon.nl/@El_joa/104478346267005958 hab ich damals meine Erfahrungen zusammengeschrieben (auf englisch).
