I appreciate that Mastodon opens up a much wider international feed that OldSite ever seemed to. But curiously, I'm also stumbling on FAR more close (in a regional sense, most are in #PDX, about 100 miles away, but the closest major city) people of possible interest that I ever did than in the Other Place. Just followed another one.
I don't know. This could be sheer chance, but it's interesting.

10+ years active in Twitter, close to 10k tweets, a nice balanced feed, and dedicated lists... Starting over is not easy. If some has tools to minimize the cost of transition, I am all ears. #movingtomastodon #twitter

@steveumstead yeah, I'm not quite sure of the best way to do the link to Mastodon as Twitter doesn't seem to like the @ in links) so went for the username change for now.
