Everyone assumes #mozila is going to get on the #mastodon train.

I think that's unlikely. These guys are Rust natives, Typescript natives, Web natives. They'll write their own #ActivityPub based #fediverse server.

Richtig nice finde ich, dass Mozilla mit einer eigenen offenen Mastodon Instanz im Fediverse stärker aktiv wird.
Ich bin gespannt, ob es nur dabei bleibt oder ob die Instanz auch in die eigenen Produkte integriert wird, z.B. Firefox, Thunderbird oder vielleicht ein eigener Social Media-Client (Nur so eine Idee).

@essi Good idea... And yes, other than @thunderbird I don't think #Mozila has a direct presence yet on the Fediverse.
