@karenengelbrecht the nice thing with #MrsDavis is that it all came together nicely and built a real story out of it. Too many series end up drawing things out forever, or just copping out at the end. Very well written.

#MrsDavis was one of the strangest yet most engaging and well-written series I have seen in quite some time. All that can be said is that it’s about a nun who goes up against an #AI. It really was endearing, but easy to miss and any description cannot do it justice. Available on #HBO at least in Finland.

If you’re looking for a bizarre, weird, whimsical show, check out “Mrs. Davis” on Peacock. It reminded us a Pushing Daisies, and it’s plot points routinely come out of left field. Horseback riding, conman fighting, nun tasked by an AI to destroy the Holy Grail. Yep. Bizarre. And gruesome in a Sam Raimi/Evil Dead 2 kinda way.

Thanks to #MrsDavis, I now have very complicated feelings when I see a Buffalo Wild Wings.

I’m about half way through watching #MrsDavis on #Peacock. I have found it entertaining. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, and it doesn’t have a lot of inconsistencies that plague so many shows of its ilk.

Can maybe be described as "definitely not sci-fi", "metamodern", "silly", "low budget cowboy grail flim-flam", "nuts", "what were they aiming at?", "where is this going, actually?" and "how did this get greenlit?"

He was talking about algorithms and the monotonizing effect it will have on television (!), and he happens to have the right subscription (!!!).

I said something like four separate times that he has to tell me what he thinks.

After finishing #MrsDavis, every ad for "free wings" makes me do a double-take.
