Aaaargh, I know I brought this onto myself, but collaborating with others on office documents as a #Linux user still is a pain. Need to review a document, but in #LibreOffice, the footnotes are simply empty from a certain point, and #OnlyOffice fails to load the images (and save the doc). #MSOffice365 online is not available at the university. Now what? 😩

Die Bayerische Staatsregierung macht sich die Einschätzung der Deutschen Datenschutzkonferenz hinsichtlich des datenschutzkonformen Einsatzes von MS Office 365 NICHT zu eigen und prüft stattdessen selbst (so lange weiter, bis sie zum passenden Ergebnis kommt). 🤦‍♀️

The government of New Zealand should take note of this decision from the French government: https://questions.assemblee-nationale.fr/q16/16-971QE.htm They are banning the use of #MSOffice365 & #GoogleApps in French #education on the basis of lost #dataSovereignty, including contravening the #GDPR. NZ needs to learn from this.

die Schule will MS Office für LKs und SuS anschaffen. Ob "echtes" #msoffice oder #msoffice365 ist nicht transparent. Mir kommt das spanisch vor. Zum einen aufgrund potentieller Probleme mit #dsgvo zum anderen aufgrund der Fixierung auf einen kommerziellen Anbieter. Zumal #libreoffice eigentlich bereits auf allen Geräten zur Verfügung steht. Meine Vorstellungen sind allerdings noch etwas konfus. Wer kann mir mit sachlichen Analysen aushelfen?
