People who use #Microsoft #MSTeams on a PC: is it possible to make the icon *not* flash orange over and over and over when someone messages you?

In my work environment, the question often arises as to whether it is better to use Private Channels or Shared Channels for a confidential channel in #MSTeams. Intuitively, I often have the feeling that it is better to go with a Shared Channel, since it comes with the same featurees but also allows the future (still unknown, i.e. "unknown unknowns") inclusion of members without having to do an onboarding into the owning Team. Does anyone have a clearer picture on this subject?

Yesterday I had the opportunity to work with the "breakout room shuffling feature" in #MSTeams as part of a global meeting with a group of ~60 participants. We ran 3 rounds of breakout sessions, shuffling the participants in-between (groups of 4). Feedback from several participants was that the shuffling wasn't always ideal, i.e. often bringing together people who knew each other already. Wonder if there is an automated way to consider social network info ("Delve info") when shuffling 🤔

Observed today the first visible "feature" of the #LinkedIn integration in #MSTeams: Info about anniversaries of individuals.

Must streamline and define how we use #Trello, #MSTeams, #Outlook, and #Sharepoint in our company. Having all these #productivity tools is nice, but it can get confusing at times, thereby defeating their purpose. 😅

Finally: #streamdeck integration in #MSTeams is working again.
I didn't change anything so assume that it got fixed as part of a recent version update of Teams.

How can I enable webcam/audio support in #citrix workspace on #debian #linux? My customer wants me to live in his #microsoft #o365 via virtual desktop sharing but my local #webcam and #headset are not available via citrix #ica so I cannot use #msteams / #teams.

@Catvalente clearly highlighting the current software ecological problem. If you don't control the source code you own and have 0 power over anything that is run on that code. If your business page is #fb or you use #MSteams or #Adobe, #Spotify etc you are in the same spot as a peasant at the whim of monarchy.
