the whole #MTBF thing is super messed up but it is telling that even if people don’t look into/research the facts, marketing and presentation IS key for stuff. that’s how Mary got so many people’s $$$. not victim blaming here at all cuz the students and alumni deserve everything good! but just saying if you’re spending that much money don’t blindly take something, especially if there’s no checking or accreditation

also i know there is a whole thing about “lack of skilled people in tech” which is like… youre unskilled as well if ur saying that as an HR person!!! but also this whole situation is a testament to that. it rly is. because like sometimes we truly don’t know what we don’t know (and we dunno THAT we don’t know… triple threat) so we already got it bad for some of us. so yeah a lot of us are unskilled/underskilled. and in tech there’s too much to learn, and the experienced people are struggling to learn as well!

anyways rant over, yall make sure to do your research and be a lil paranoid, be thirsty to learn and always ask questions about everything. BE annoying and BE on the lookout!
