If I had known then.

I read tonight that the explosive force of shoulder mounted rocket launchers and use of artillery can lead to mild traumatic brain injuries. So I look back on my artillery career and my progressively worse mental health. Then I find out those mild brain injuries exacerbate PTSD, which also sucks. Oh also the helmet I had to wear? Yeah that apparently amplifies blasts, to make it worse.

If I had known then, there's no way I would have signed up.

If you recovered from a concussion with both vestibular and ocular symptoms, what ultimately got you across the finish line to normal functioning? I’m nearly a year post-injury and am still doing vision and vestibular therapies, but maybe I’m doing something wrong?

"#CTE is a disease of exposure," Professor Alan Pearce from #Latrobe University said.
"We have a lot of players who might have had one or two concussions, but they're likely to have had probably 20,000 or 30,000 smaller hits.
"That's not just in #football, or #rugby, but you know it's in other sports as well. It's in the military, we've even got concerns about domestic violence.
