Rest in peace Sheldon Menery. His creation of #EDH had a huge impact on Magic as a whole and opened the game up to a lot of people that wouldn't otherwise be playing it. We are all thankful for your work.

Also, snuck in a commander game afterward that I ended up winning with my “coin flipping matters” deck by flipping infinite coins, drawing my deck, and then getting there with Mirror March tokens! Was sick.

Headed out to my local games store to play some #MTGCommander with some freshly built decks:

- Super Sliver Squad (upgraded precon)

- Eldrazi Enriched (upgraded precon)

- Toxic Atraxa (poison/proliferate good stuff)

Needless to say, they all worked superbly!

Been going through my collection and pulled out a few cards to try in the new Eldrazi precon. That said, I’m probably going to have to sink around £150 to get the other highly desirable cards.

So, all the #MTGCommander precons for Commander Masters have been revealed, and I’m feeling distinctly underwhelmed.

These are not £85 RRP decks. They’re barely £60 RRP decks.

Tonight’s been a good night. Went to #FridayNightMagic, played a ton of #MTGCommander , and had great fun:

- Prosper deck got shut down *hard* because everyone I play with knows it can pop off easily :)

- Necron precon deck with no upgrades went up against someone with mill, promptly created 40 insect token creatures and deleted them.

- Slivers deck ended up being a game of 2 headed giant alongside… another slivers deck 🤣

A bit overdue but I won a 3-way #mtgcommander battle with the #hobbit deck. Do not underestimate the power of food!

Made some changes to my Prosper #MTGCommander deck. Top row is out, bottom row is in.

New favorite #mtgcommander - AMASS ORCS!

(Basically every time I cast any non-creature card, I get to create orcs equal to the cost)
