Got my seventh medal in omnidraft, getting it again on my first try. This was NOT a super strong omnidraft deck - only two actual draw-two cards along with a lot of cycling, looting, sac-to-draw-two, and other effects that rely on things on the board. There was a lot of lot of grinding in the wins, and some of them were very close. Many lines of play involving drawing multiple cards off of generous stray.

Got the NEO bot draft medal first try with a green-white enchantment synergy deck splashing for two turtles. Took two early losses and had to win out from 1-2, and a lot of the games were quite tight, but we got there.

Harmonious Emergence was MVP - the 4/5 vigilant body really stabilized things and let me put pressure on my opponents, who usually got off to quicker starts.

Okay, so I lied about giving up on the Alchemy event - got my fifth medal (all but Standard) on my second try with this weirdo combo/value jund deck. One thing I didn't realize about it was that with all the treasures it spits out, you end up being able to hard-cast the titans fairly easily. Was not fabulous against mono-red, so I can't really recommend it. Jarsyll and Crucias are the real engine here and you could build a lot of other decks around them.

Since I had some time, and still need one Decathlon medal in a constructed format to get a second entry in the finals, I took four shots at Alchemy with a mono-red list I shamelessly stole from Fireshoes' twitter feed. I did not get there (best result 6 wins), which I attribute to pilot error (mainly not being aggressive enough mulliganing). Matchup felt pretty even with rakdos midrange, good against most other non-mirror decks, and very bad against lifegain.

Fourth medal (I skipped Standard) in Traditional Draft despite getting disconnected for my first nine picks (I did get a refund).

Ended up with a weird blue/black/artifact deck with three Mightstone's Animation. The Platoon Dispenser was great, and I even activated it once using one of the Energy Refractors. The Platinum Angel let me win three games at negative life.

Got my third Decathlon medal in sealed, on my third and final try. Previous attempt went 6-3, which was a bit heartbreaking. Pretty standard good sealed deck - removal, good high drops, enough low drops to not get aggro'd out too easily. Visions of Phyrexia won me at least two games through sheer value accumulation. Not going to be trying the Standard event as I don't really play the format.

The MTGA Decathlon pauper event is bugged - it's standard alchemy pauper instead of historic, which was advertised. I though I had just misremembered, and put together a white aggro deck where nearly every card was a two-for-one, using all-stars from the white aggro decks in HBG and SNC limited. Worked very well for a 7-1 and my second Decathlon medal.

Got there on my first try in the Jump In! event. I forget what the first choices offered were, but I chose "Wandering", a domain theme deck, on the theory that the mana fixing would let me play whatever second I found. Then I resisted the very strong tabletop nerd temptation to pick "monsters" and went with "globetrotter", which I figured would play into the domain thing.
