I’m really struggling with #MTGWOE draft so far:

- 0-3 with an admittedly sketchy BGw deck
- 2-3 with GW with not enough removal
- 1-3 with BR with lots and lots of removal

I feel like my problem so far is that I’m drafting very midrange decks without enough synergy. Often I have some Roles, some Food, a little Bargain, but the whole isn’t much more than the sum of its parts.

On the other hand, I’ve also lost games because I got run over by aggro, and because I got outclassed by giant creatures.

It could also just be bad luck in a small sample size, of course!

Or maybe I should be drafting Blue. 🤪

First draft in Eldraine, started in red-green then got passed enough red cards to go mono-red. Turns out, mono-red is pretty good. I initially had five Redcap Thieves in my deck then swapped one out for a Grabby Giant.

I love #mtglimited but I also love my friends, so I'm getting ready for a night of #edh over Spelltable instead of jamming more Wilds of Eldraine.

Mulligan, Mulligan, Mulligan + Mana Flood (12 lands, 4 spells) didn't help.

But it was routinely smoked on card quality, too.

Looks like it could be a lo-o-ong draft format for me...

Super fun draft night tonight! We had a going away party for one of the playgroup that’s moving away, so we drafted Dominaria Remastered and had some cake too.

Ended up in a WU blink deck feat. Triskelion, which was very sweet to pilot.

Vs Mono-White Enchantress(!!): 2-0
Vs UBR Control: 0-2
Vs UG Squirrel Nest Midrange: 2-1

DOM Remastered is sweet, and we had a good sendoff for the player moving away, since he took the 3-0 victory tonight too!

Prediction for the Wilds of Eldraine limited format: All of the 1-drop creatures will be good, even the dorky green and white 1/1 commons that kind of look terrible now. I think the default strat will be putting little hats on little dudes and sending them into combat. And if you're not ready to do that on turn 1, you're going to be in trouble. The evasive or 2/1 creatures for 1 mana will be better, but if you don't have them, dumb 1/1s will have to do. #MagicTheGathering #MTG #MTGLimited

Another fun draft night! Flashback drafted ONE, and ended up in a very average RG oil/midrange deck that managed to not embarrass itself after a very shaky draft portion.

Nice little draft night tonight/break from baldur’s gate consuming my brain. We did a throwback draft of March of the Machines, and I ended up in a pretty fun UR spells deck. Mostly leaned on ral’s reinforcements and convoke spells to get there.

Vs BR Midrange: 2-0
Vs WG Counters: 2-0
Vs WR Aggro Knights: 1-2

Missed the trophy by inches, but had a blast revisiting one of my fav sets in a while.
