Spent yesterday at Mt. Rose (Tahoe), riding in their crazy deep fresh powder. I learned that it's easy to forget how to ride in powder when you're used to Sierra Cement, haha. Back home in Tahoe and finished instructing a Level 2 avalanche class with a strong crew. High danger on the last day made for interesting observations like this small slide we intentionally triggered on an innocuous test slope. #backcountry #laketahoe #mtrose #nevada #snow #avalanche #SnowScience #skiing #splitboarding
