1280 followers · 1428 posts · Server syringa.socialWe had actually planned to be out at the #playa this weekend. Not _that_ playa, rather one we frequent a bit north of the Black Rock Desert, just over the Oregon border. One that's less popular, and arguably more remote.
But the wet weather forecast this weekend for our whole region is not conducive to camping & driving on a giant dry lake bed. Hopefully we can go in a couple weeks. I do miss the magnificent desolation.

Also asking people either RVs to let people without RVs share their space (ie muddy tent dwellers). #wacken open air will become an epic #mudocalypse this year unfortunately.
Heavy rains continue, tractors have to pull each vehicle onto camping grounds one by one. so theres an epic traffic jam. I guess its best to come by train or bus. Atm ppl should still delay travel and wait at home.
