Daily #SteveKimock. In 1986 Steve was home in PA for a visit. We hung out most of the day playing and then driving around town to visit old friends.

In the evening he asked if there was any club where we could play. I remembered that #MuhlenbergCollege had a pub in the student Union. We walked in and they said yes. We called a bassist friend and he hustled over. We ended up playing for two hours. Here’s a rare clip of him playing swing style.

This was at #MuhlenbergCollege in Allentown at Alpha Tau Omega, the most notorious frat on campus. The show was on the night of turning the clocks an hour back. We had already played for four hours and were going to quit at what was now 1am. But they took a collection and hired us for the extra hour.

The problem was we were more or less out of rehearsed material. So we did our best to pull out tunes we kind of knew. These are two #Cream songs that we had done on and off over the years.

Been struggling with tendinitis for the past few months. Slowly rehabbing and found that going back to #classicalguitar is less stress than the lap guitars.

This is a #17thcentury #lute duet by William Dawes that I relearned and recorded a few weeks ago. Used to play it back in the 80s. I used the #JulianBream arrangement.

All but the last image are of the chapel at my undergrad school, #muhlenbergcollege, where I played many recitals.
