I had the most beautiful visitor today.
He was panting from the heat on this 90° day. Some days he goes and lays down underneath the deck to stay cool. He’s eaten down some plants & my roses are gone, but I don’t mind. He’s welcome & I’m glad he can find respite here.

Looking at Alphonse Mucha’s Zodiac, I wondered if I could do something similar using a mule deer as the main focus. The two attached images show the inspiration and the result.
