I’m SNEWS, the SuperNova Early Warning System. I consist of #neutrino detectors around the world that are looking for a galactic #supernova. When they detect it, I’ll send out an alert to the #multimessenger community, so astronomers have a chance to prepare for the SN shock breakout that will become visible shortly after the neutrino burst.
