#ClimateDiary this year a group of mothers at our school set up regular preloved uniform sales. They have been going really well and are a brilliant example of #Multisolving (a concept developed by @bethsawin):

- raising money for school
- building community
- sustainable, #CircularEconomy, lowering CO2 footprint

Reviewing a paper my colleague @#CIRCA wrote for towns in CT considering renewable energy projects as a guide to incentives in the #IRA and WOW! this is the most #climate hopeful thing I’ve seen in a while. #Multisolving by incentivizing renewables, just transition labor, domestic production of materials, building affordable housing with integrated renewables/ storage. Hoping to see a lot of action in the next few years.

I am re-reading a set of interviews our team did with people who are #multisolving. And searching for the 'signal' in the complexity of their very different work. And realizing that one commonality is that they too are seeking out signal - to figure out what has changed in the world due to their changing the "wiring diagram" of systems (i.e. fostering cross-sector bridges and relationships). It's like I'm peering through the complex fog at a bunch of people peering through the fog.
