Lately after working with the @crystalLanguage -Dpreview_mt we have moved away back to use non MT binaries. the main reason is that it's too unstable. the objects, the workflow, the shards.

We have waited for too much time holding this back instead of pushing it forward, and it was just an uphill battle that is quite lonely as not many others are using it, so we had the burden of bug hunting and fixing.

Maybe when it becomes mainline we will try it again.

This thread just tickles me so much, both that 93% effectivity in scaling to 48 cores wasn't good enough and that it is almost entirely explained by the CPU clock rate throttling down to 93% of its single-core speed when under full load.
