draft - SMS on android does *not* work well with the android multiuser. that's just one reason web-based messaging is a better solution than SMS messaging. another is multidevice functionality, but even single device multiuser is important.

outlook is a solution over gmail as outlook would be a non-google email client that can be signed in accross multiple users without signing in to all google accounts. so i could say to mother, please email me at this outlook address. but email is so old. it's missing so many of the features of a modern chat platform like telegram/microsoft teams. theoretically, facebook messenger/whatsapp are options/alternatives to telegram/teams but i would prefer not to use them, but i guess i could. i could say whatsapp to mom. which works on some planes.

draft - so i kind of want to type about some personal stuff, but not really on this account, so i'm inclined to maybe create another account. but can i do it on the same instance. i like techhub because of the 1000 characters compared to 500. do any other instances have 1000 characters? even 750 would be better than 500. i mean, i guess 500 is ok too. which is in turn better, almost double than the paltry 280 that twitter gives us. hm.

@ValkyrieKerry there will always be people on any #multiuser communications platform who aren't worth the effort of trying to influence their #tiny minds.

If there is a #question about something that you aren't in the middle of #climbing up to, #block them. Most of them are from single point #instances which aren't worth your effort.

Just accept that they have only one #single issue on their #brains and outside their menu they're fucked.

Ich hatte seit gestern noch das Problem mit #Syncthing, dass auf meinem #MacOS mit zwei verschiedenen Accounts die Synchronisation mit den #Berechtigungen nicht 100% funktioniert hatte.

Dateien des zweiten #Accounts wurden mit den Berechtigungen des ersten Accounts versucht zu schreiben (auf dem syncthing zuerst lief).

Lösung des Problems: man muss für jeden #Account eine eigene #Konfiguration anlegen mit angepassten #Ports.
