@eloraraymond I’m really tempted to sign up, because #cities and #urbanlife and #municipalist politics are at the heart of my thought and practice, but more honestly still I just don’t want to. I’d rather conversations develop organically in this new context, with new interlocutors and generative novel conjunctures emerging over time. I know you don’t mean it this way, but I’m trying to avoid any carryover habits with the stink of networking about them.

@neil @pipkazan This is precisely why I believe some mesoscale, nonstate coordinating mechanism is necessary – something like a #Municipalist International. (I’m frankly underwhelmed by the existing gestures in this direction.) I *also* agree that “#degrowth”, while conceptually correct, is a not particularly appealing label with which to convene large numbers of people. There is an art to the adoption of usefully empty signifiers!
