The recently elected Mayor and Council wants the transition to a city police force reversed and directed on Thursday, the RCMP to return. The Province appears to want the opposite.

I make this statement generally because there are way too many examples in all jurisdictions and levels of government. Democracy requires a balance of stability and renewal.
