Our Xmas Eve tradition: We watch #MuppetsChristmasCarol and have a nice home cooked meal, usually spanakopita or piaia from a recipe that a Brazilian friend translated for us when we shared the evening's cooking many years ago. Which turned out to become a family favorite, but I can no longer eat most seafood and sausage is on the avoid list, so I need to figure out substitutes.

Michael Caine isn't 'acting with Muppets', he's just acting, and winds up as the best Scrooge of all time. Also there should be way more Muppet literature adaptations in the world

Got into bed last night, stuck my head under husband’s hand on my pillow. When he moved it the #hypervigilance kicked in and I’ve been jumpy and tearful since I woke up. (I have been #estranged from my “mother” for 10 years and siblings for 2.)

What has been restored? The song "When Love is Gone" sung by Meredith Braun. Disney felt kids wouldn't like it. My boys disagree.

When the song was omitted from the HD version of the movie I edited it back in. It is silly to leave it out.
