So when head #MuppetShow writer #JerryJuhl asked #GlendaJackson what she wanted to do, she didn’t demand any certain characters be her scene partner or pitch any ideas. This blew me away! She could do anything at all that she wanted to do. But what she did say surprised me, in a delightful way. She simply said, “You people know what you’re up to. I’ll do anything you write for me.”

So today, I made my 14yo watch S1E6 of the original #MuppetShow. SOooo many good/bad jokes. I was almost 7 when that ep came out. And, just as I remembered, Paul Williams was absolutely adorable!

Originally the song was a protest against US police brutality; then it was about the Vietnam War; in this skit it seems to be a protest against #bloodsport, which apparently at that time was a big thing in the #UK. The lyrics were slightly changed, of course. Did I get it right? Feeling they are in a creative rut of single-Muppet led streaming series, like Gonzo's ill-fated true-crime documentary, #Kermit is looking for a way to build unity among the core #MuppetShow cast and at #Scooter's suggestions, he attempts to corral the main players into an epic fantasy adventure #tabletop campaign.

Also, Scooter is recording the sessions for a #podcast and has a role as an audio-engineer and fill-in NPC here and there.
