Murder in the air!

So, I’m an idiot. Heard what sounded like a murder birb chirping away & saw a magpie sitting nicely in a tree. Wow, what mimicry I thunked. Was impressed even.

On closer inspection though, no overt signs of calling could be detected in the maggie… looks higher in the tree & finds nice juvenile murder bird chortling away to itself.

Chortling at me obviously.
