The first choice that popped into my head was "Arachnophobia", but that got picked early. Sometimes when I have to think about an answer I come up with one I like better.

In "Murphy's War", Peter O'Toole plays Murphy, the only surviving member of a crew massacred by a German U-Boat, who is looking to get revenge.
