Took a detour just now to photograph this series of what I believe are #floweringalmond trees, along a busy #Murrumbeena roadside, #Australia.
Saw them the other day but couldn’t stop. Today they’re displaying beautifully in the morning sunshine.
There are a dozen of these lovely trees along this stretch and they’re truly breathtaking.
Even the bright green #moss or #lichen on this one’s trunk surface and main branches are a visual delight!

Walking amongst giants. These magical River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) in the remnant indigenous forest of Murrumbeena’s Outer Circle Railway reserve inspired the artworks of the Boyd family and contemporaries.

#Murrumbeena #Australia sees this vibrant #rose displaying itself beautifully in the morning sun.
The deep orange colour is appealing to the eye and the petals felt soft, firm and in their prime.
I just loved how the inner flowering section was a deep shade, whilst the outermost petals lightened in colour.
It’s simply gorgeous, don’t you think?
