It's the 300th anniversary of Anderson's book of Constitutions.

It was dedicated to the then Grand Master, 2nd Duke of Montagu by Dr. Desagulier, a former Grand Master and regular visitor to Bath, and co-author of The Constitutions. Dr. Desagulier initiated Beau Nash into Masonry.

On this day, 14th December 1799, George Washington died. He was famous for being the first US President, the inability to tell lies, having wooden false teeth, and being a Freemason (as were many US founding fathers).
