Dangit one more scratch - Gregg Vitello, who had the adventure in which his lead dog Greg prevented the team from making a very wrong turn has decided to return to the Iditarod checkpoint and scratch.

He's doing it in the best interest of his team - so again, heartbreaking but of course it's the right thing to do. Hope Gregg and Greg and thpse other doggos make it back to another #Iditarod

Pulled up the #Iditarod live feed and as these two dudes are talking about how great the top three teams are, this little village kid walked up behind them and basically took over the show for a few minutes.

When asked 'who are your favorite dogs - whose team do you like?' the kid said 'my dog' and he's 100% right.

Wednesday morning #Iditarod report: Jesse Holmes and Brent Sass and teams are in Ophir, 352 miles in and 646 miles to go. Amazingly, Sass' team is apparently resting at .1mph!

These doggos like to run even in their sleep.

Looks like the red lantern team (at this point) has made it to Nikolai, which is great news...they're through the goo.
