This #ILoveFS Day, I want to thank the Rubén Rodríguez for his work on #Trisquel, the #Inkscape devs for their work, #KDE, @fsf @fsfe @walterbender for his work on #MusicBlocks ...the list goes on and on (and obviously is incomplete). Basically, if you are working on #FreeSoftware in some capacity, then "Thank you!"

Project inspired by a "circle of fifths" poster seen at a middle school band class.
Curious what a "fractal snowflake" ❄️ looks and sounds like? The only thing that could make this proposition better is having a mouse draw it. 🐭
We've got you covered. 😀

We have been working to implement a new feature in #MusicBlocks! The new "chord" block allows you to create triads, sevenths, and other chords.
Combining this block with other blocks is a very powerful way to structure your musical ideas. This video is a test of the new block. It plays through nine specified chord shapes in C major, going up and down the scale so you can hear the character of each shape.
We hope to share some more projects using this new block soon!

Number eleven from "Twenty things to do with a computer" is "make a music box and program a tune." Here we are, fifty years later, continuing to program tunes, now with Music Blocks. Need I say more? Join us in the fun and discovery! Ref: https://musicblocks.net/2021/11/28/celebrating-50-years-of-20-things-to-do-with-a-computer/ #musicblocks #musicpluscode

@benoit @codewiz Right now, Sugar Labs is focusing on building SOAS (Sugar On a Stick), a live OS on a USB concept, using Sugar Desktop Environment based on a #Fedora image (https://spins.fedoraproject.org/en/soas/) .
Along with that, the rising new developments are "#Musicblocks", (https://musicblocks.sugarlabs.org/) an interesting tool to create music using block programming, and "#Sugarizer" (https://try.sugarizer.org/) , a web+android+iOS framework which helps kids use #Sugar on many modern devices ✨🚀
