#MusicGenreMonday is #deathstep , a genre I discovered about 35 minutes ago, more or less, the fusion of dubstep and metal. It makes a lot of sense, as both genres are known for their weight as well as their frequent use of abrasive textures and sounds. On this one, I appreciated what the fusion of hip hop with extreme metal in the vocals brought to the table.
