Band recording update:

Where we used to merely tiptoe around the "prog" aspect of our style, we appear to have fully embraced it for this project. There are solos where there never used to be room for them. There's space where there never used to be. In one track, I've managed to accidentally ape Adam Jones' sound completely. Every song is now longer, allowing us to explore moments formerly glossed over.

I cannot wait to share the finished products with everyone!

OK, for the last three days I have been working on re-recording a song with the band that we wrote in 2007.

I can't wait to share it with you, since I cannot stop listening to the outro. Which happens to be 3/5 of the song's length..

OK, rerecording another song for the band tonight, and oh my god. We had no set structure for this one, relying solely on each other to know when to play each part.

...and I always made up the heavy riff as I went.

Buuuut it's one of the singer's favourites, so here I am trying to rewrite whole sections of it to fit :|
