When not actively #musicking or distracted by work, I've been slowly learning to manipulate #Hugo to build a semi-professionalish #portfolio web site, for now hosted on sdf.org. Last time I made a static web site, I was still on dial up and learning html4.

Anyway, any good Hugo resources out there that aren't videos? The official docs are really good at explaining granular things without giving you any sense of where things fit in the whole. (Or maybe I just suck at reading them.)

Folders on my network drive:

Music - has music in it, to listen to. Decades of CD-ripped mp3s, #Bandcamp purchases, etc.

Musick - has music in progress, stuff I'm working on. The things that I am #musicking. If these things are particularly well behaved, they may eventually move to the other folder.

#Musick is a transitive verb in my head.

What are our thoughts on #Arturia #Pigments? 4 is out now and on sale for a substantial discount for a few weeks. I've heard of it in glowing terms.

I'm not sure I'm in the market. There are a zillion #opensource VSTs I'd love to mess with, not to mention I have a general aversion to license activation schemes potentially interfering with my #musicking, though I don't recall Arturia's being particularly bad.

I do like my Arturia hardware, a #KeyStep and #MicroFreak, quite a bit.

Waiting for the ferry to walk across to band practice. God bless them for having an Ampeg stack, I just have to bring my bass and pedals (just one pedal this week).

Soon I'll start needing an umbrella, too, but not today.

Two A/B parts and then a longer solo space, modded A and modded B conclusion. 100bpm, main riff in E, I think.
