And for this there is no one I would recommend more than my friend, copyist extraordinaire Thanh Tran. We met at Berklee 20 years ago, moved to LA at the same time, and worked on dozens of projects together since then.

Music licensing is a strange beast isn’t it? Why are some albums available via some streaming services, yet others aren’t? Take the US rock band Black’n’Blue for example. Of their first four albums only the 3rd - “In Heat” - is available on Apple Music yet it’s on the same label as the other 3. I can only guess they got or are about to be re-released by another label who now own the license and don’t want to cannibalise sales by making them available on streaming? 🤔#musiclicensing #rock #metal

Conducting my Audio Network album 'Shifting Perspectives' in Studio 2 at Abbey Road Studios. I recorded this album in four different locations around the world (Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York and London), and this final session at Abbey was, as often, the pinnacle of the recording process!
