Music tools and VSTs that use AI are improving in a very exciting sort of way.

Text to Sample is a good example - type a text prompt, get a sample (loop) back. Quality seems pretty good on the video, but will see how it really runs..

The new tune I was working on is exactly the same as the tune I've just written. I spent so much time working on the production side of things I didn't pick up how similar they sound. Good job I noticed very early on!

I decided to make beats for one of my songs. I've used for drum tracks, but never did or added waves to beats before. I got one made.
Then, I made a wave of the beats and put it into the song in Cakewalk. Then I decided that I needed to adjust some volume levels in the beats, but I can't load it into fruitloops anymore! ARGH!!! Help!!!

Ich möchte mal kurz erwähnen, dass ich selten eine so aufgeräumte und geniale Hardware (ebenso wie die Software) gesehen habe. Und dazu noch reparierbar (afaik).

In the midst of a lot of other things I try to push towards an Algoforte release by the end of this month. I've done some work on it - mainly research on various virtual piano possibilities on Linux and that definitely bore some fruit. There's a community of people who record pianos and publish that in a form of so-called SFZ sound font. I haven't found a good recording so...

What is your opinion on using a premade midi track, and altering the chord progression and melody to my own liking? I want to create music, but my age, and especially my adhd makes learning a really hard. I’m talking about an organ snippet of a song, extending it, and playing guitar and drums on top of it. And in the end, lyrics. Is this a plausible way to go? Need advice :)
