I can drag tracks up and down in the queue without affecting the original playlist, and vice versa. I can queue extra tracks without messing up playlists or albums. This flexibility is pretty powerful.
I often delete queues when done with them, using just a handful at a time to suit my various moods.

Even with my huge collection, it runs nimbly. The orientation toward queues (in addition to playlists and albums) has been a little hard to get used to, but overall it's a great player.

The developer is at the forefront of the movement whereby the ARTISTS tag supersedes the ARTIST tag and subsequently that fucks with my entire scrobbling setup.
Sadly it means I'm back to looking for a backup #mp3 player.
It's crazy to me that such a fundamental decision isn't an option, but I'm not a developer.

Anyway, that led to me making #Musicolet my primary music app. My only issues with it are that there's a second app needed for chromecast and that it could do with some #materialdesign. Anyway, I've been looking for a new secondary app and ended up settling on #Auxio. #Shuttle 2 remains the tertiary music app.
