So, since I get mpv-android I use this. If exists any music app ultra minimalist I am all ears

I am still searching for a music player I find acceptable. I was using MusicBee on windows for managing my music library, tagging and filters, syncing to my phone etc. Great look, great features. I'm trying out Strawberry which has some promise.

Being an app heavily focused on albums in vinyl format, I've always been on the fence about this since it meant stepping into conventional player territory. But the requests kept coming.
And since vinyl singles are supported, this is a bit like autochanger stacked singles. I'm totally satisfied with the results!

I connected my Laptop via USB to my external DAC and it works out of the box under Linux as an Audio output. Highress Highres Music must not be proprietary MQA.

Wanted to be as far removed from Apple Music as possible. VLC doesn’t function in a way that makes sense to me and Nextcloud music comes via the browser.
One day I hope there will be a phone that really works for me! Appreciate any input.
