I just unsubscribed from a #DoubleBass #YouTube guy who published yet another of those click-baity titles that told me “If you’re practicing scales to improve intonation, you’re WRONG!” Come on, don’t insult my intelligence. You’re not really as clever and special as you think you are. I’ll keep playing scales and listening each and every day. Don’t need your BS. #MusicPractice

1. Really satisfied that I managed to make some progress in my #classicalguitar practice in terms of sound texture and dynamics for the Mertz piece, plus at least unravelling some of the exam study that's been doing my head in.
2. A good classical guitar class; some confusions were untangled, and I learned new technique. Always a good thing!
3. Finally managed to cook some of the things I wanted to cook this week. Two days later!

Delighted after a run of days sleeping all day #neuro to manage some #accordion practice. Starting to learn the #PhantomOfTheOpera melody - a very difficult #harmonic version. My accordion was doing its best impression of a big #organ! Also continuing to practice #Aladdin 's Speechless - I'm getting more fluent with it.
