And I have a question for you: one of my favorite stories by Prince, is 'The Mashed Potato Girl' intro on the Exodus album.
It is hilarious (I kid you not!), but: it's also hard to hear, because the tv show is playing on the background while bass player Sonny T is rummaging on the foreground rather loudly.
So my question: can anyone here help me find the audio of Prince' character telling his story, without Sonny T's sounds?

I really did love the song "The Rose" by Bette Midler. It was also such a great analogy for the trans experience - the hatching, the struggle to become and be yourself.
