It's No Bad Thing!

The fall back from the December peak in Mastodon user numbers was inevitable.
Many long term Twitter users may have joined Mastodon in protest of Musk's lunacy. While others were drawn to the idea of an ad-free social media with a history of tolerance and acceptance.

As the user numbers settle down, I'm sure many instance admins will be relieved to see a more manageable increased user base.

This is a great place, the people interesting, diverse and generally respectful of others. Like any beauty spot, too many visitors could spoil it.
