Ian Bremmer provided a detailed account of a conversation with Musk where Musk said he spoke with Putin before proposing the peace plan.
The #Kremlin originally claimed Putin and Musk had not spoken in February 2021, but changed its story to match Musk’s story.
If Musk’s peace plan was dictated by Putin, then Musk was acting as an unregistered #RussianAgent.

On October 12, 2022, after having denied back in March 2021 that #Putin and #ElonMusk had spoken to each other, the #Kremlin changed its story to match Musk’s story and admitted Putin and Musk spoke in February 2021, but said it was “telephone conversation” rather than a “videoconference” as Musk had said.

On October 11, 2022, political scientist Ian Bremmer claimed #ElonMusk told him he had spoken to #Putin and Putin dictated the terms of the peace plan Musk outlined. If true, Bremmer’s claim would mean Musk was acting as an unregistered #RussianAgent when he peddled Putin’s peace plan.
Musk immediately denied Bremmer’s claim, saying he had only spoken to Putin once, in February 2021.
