@dtgeek I don't know what is supposed to be so difficult at Mastodon. My main problem is I don't find the people I'd like to connect with - probably they are not here (yet).
This said, I do not mean to contradict the fact that marginalized people don't feel safe here. I wonder where we might - yes, we. As a muslim I know what it means to be harrassed - actually on M. less so, but I think this comes by not being seen at all. Cannot find anything like #MuslimMastodon .

You might be asking yourself, who's this guy who's tweeting on some made up hashtag called #ChristianMastodon ... But you should also be aware that there is a #jewishMastodon and a #MuslimMastodon and even #AtheistMastodon so #boom there you go... #subcommunity #subculture #Christendom

Since the hashtag #IslamicSciences apparently does not yet used by anyone here for any purposes and #IslamicStudies is already used for academic, non-confessional Islamic studies, then I'll proclaim #IslamicSciences for a traditional, confessional way to look at Islamic sciences/intellectual tradition lmao (laughing may aql off, as someone on birdsite said).
