I rewatched #TMNT #MutantMayhem last night. And playing #BombRushCyberfunk, really made me appreciate 'Mayhem's music. #TrentReznor worked with Atticus Ross. And they made a pulsing #soundtrack. With dynamic #chiptune mixed with physical instruments. It's suspenseful, but also bop-able. And also really hits those solemn notes.

One of my favorite parts of #teenagemutantninjaturtles #mutantmayhem was when the mutants were hanging in the bowling alley, and it was all fun and innocent, and the background music was ODB singing "Oh baby, I like it raw.

#TMNT2012 might be my fav cuz I like the lore & that the turtles are already well depth in ninjutsu feels nostalgic & badass

I finally saw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, with my eldest daughter. It feels like a labour of love. The animation rocked, continuing the current big screen cartoon renaissance. The soundtrack was also great (for us oldies). My big takeaway though: The TMNTs are 15 years old - BORN IN 2008. IN 2 0 0 8.

No sé, he tenido la sensación de que si fuera un niño, ahora mismo, sería mi versión favorita de las Tortugas. Bajo ese enfoque visual tan tosco y sucio, se esconde un corazón enorme inesperado.

Y cuando digo "deberían ser así", no me refiero solo a las personalidades, me refiero a las motivaciones. Me los creo a todos, y los protagonistas tienen, entre ellos, una dinámica tan natural, tan auténtica, que les coges cariño prácticamente enseguida, y te los crees.

Además, todo el "rollo X-men" (por no dar más detalles), le da un toque muy genuino.

Lo que más me fascina es cómo reinventa a los personajes. Se siente muy natural este nuevo enfoque. Fluye que da gusto.

Por profundizar: he visto mil versiones de las TMNT, y casi todas funcionan, en mayor o menor medida. Pero esta vez he sentido, todo el rato, una sensación de "parece que hayan sido así siempre", porque siento que todo conecta muy bien y también da la sensación de que los personajes deberían ser así.

Ya he visto TMNT: Caos mutante.

Me he encontrado con algo inesperado, porque creía que iba a ser una película pasada de rosca, divertida y alocada. Sin más. Y lo es, pero también me he encontrado una peli con mucho corazón, con un puntito muy entrañable y un clímax inspirador.

He visto la peli con una sonrisa permanente, y una lagrimilla medio asomando en el ojo izquierdo, porque tiene un enfoque muy, pero que muy apropiado.

The turtles and the other mutants seemed so happy in the bowling alley I’m not sure they’re gonna be able to recreate that type of happiness in a American high school enough for me to suspend my disbelief #MutantMayhem #TMNT

#TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles #MutantMayhem is really fun. The boys act like real brothers, like real teens. Unsure, trying to proove themselves, awkward, & silly. Raph is not an angry, broody boy here, but still rough and tumble.

I love the extended cast of mutants. #JackieChan is his usual, wonderful self. I love what they did w/ Splinter here.

The #movie is a great romp. Not too kiddy, not to grown. Great performances. I like the messy art style. I recommend.
