I have an over 400 dollar electric bill that I can't pay. I'm trying to work with LIHEAP, but they say since they paid for it last year, I still have another month before I can qualify for it again.

It depends on the server to be honest.

For the server disabled.social, we very much support #MutualAidRequests. We also talk it out with other servers to get them to stop being asshats about it. I hope mastodon.social isn't being an asshat.

So yeah, some servers are problematic about it. I often suggest newcomers find servers that fit them best. I know our server supports this, and a lot of servers run by BIPOC, anarchists, and/or disabled folks do.

Honestly? I'm tired and feeling horrible about this. All I did was pay at the pump and they took everything. My bank has been no help. I just gotta make it through Thursday at midnight.

Any help will be paid forward at that time. Mvto.
