Two years ago I bought my ✨dream car✨
I had to widen my search to 250mi, but I found the exact spec I was looking for… 5.5hr away. The parental units agreed to take a road trip with me to get the car. I think they were happy to see it to the end since I talked about Miatas so often.
I plan to own Blue Lightning long-term and I’ll surely drive it as much — I’m talking hundreds of thousands of miles. I know I’ll love every one of them.

The Continental divide in Yellowstone National Park.
According to the NP Service’s website, on the east side of the divide, water flows to the Gulf of Mexico. On the west side it flows to the Pacific Ocean.

My Miata has a small cubby for a phone in front of the gear shift. It’s small, but it works. Usually.
The only problem is that it exposes my phone to direct sunlight when the top is down. This makes my phone really hot and sometimes it’ll overheat. Not good for the screen, internals, and especially the battery.
I’ve been looking for fixes and found this silicone pocket. It has a velcro strip on the back that adheres perfectly to the carpeting in my Miata.
