@Imlordofthering I have heard similar from "tech users" as well and in my discussions 2 things came out - one is they are "users of tech" and in a singular plaform/ planet whatever is easier to comprehend than fediverse for them (though email anology helped a lot). And secondly, the ones who are more seasoned have grown up with the likes of RSA, DNS etc. so they took their sweet time to grow into it, and now reached to that age where you don't wanna go on a blind date anymore - hence a little hesitant. #my2c

@alexcastano taking what @cj said a bit furher, I consider that a good AP implementation takes what it receives as IDs and if it's something relevant to it, does another request and then it handles it in accordance with the content it receives. I don't find the case where this content is actual binary data, too different than having to check for different AP object types. #my2c
