Well that went a lot better than I thought it would. Managed all the intervals. Looks like I didn’t lose as much fitness as I thought I had by not getting out there for past 6/7 weeks. So. Happy with that. Gonna feel it in the morning though.

Annoyingly. The Brian weasels struck at the end of October and I’ve struggled to get out there and run. I’m doing my best to not let this run into half a year again of non activity so I’ve got my run kit on and trainers by the front door. I’m determined to get out there. Wish me luck.

Cheat day on Sunday, Government shutdown due to elections on Sunday and too busy on Monday. Lack of preparation meant I didn't have time to purchase salad stuff, chickpeas or meat...so I ate like shit. Back on the wagon proper like tomorrow....smalls steps.

My Fitness Journey - Last salad of the week. It was amazing. Ventured to for a change for lunch. Grilled chicken, quinoa, eggplant, pea and cabbage salad with some avocado on the side. So tasty. Will be coming back here much more regularly. one more fast to go this week

Scale weigh ins have moved to Friday, the last of my 6 days of being good. Saturday is my cheat day. Starting weight 113.8kg, this morning's weight 108.8kg. 5kg down exactly. I'm definitely making progress.

My t-shirts are feeling super loose on me today. There's something in this approach for me for the first time. Slow and steady progress with weekly rewards. and to not snack on carbs seems like a winning strategy.

I had as much salad I could eat today, two plates with some chicken. Really missing avocado though. Siracha on the chicken hitting the spot for me for some additional flavor. A trip to the hospital with the same size gowns during a 5 day period. Fit me way better today. Slowly slowly, the weight might not be coming off but I am definitely starting to look leaner.

Looking at the graph it doesn't seem too much out of order. Above the baseline but that's expected after a run. Perhaps the baseline activity needs to be tweaked.

My Fitness Journey - Shakes have replaced dinner. Whey protein, half a cup of whole milk, banana, 5 cashews, 5 almonds, a cup of oatmeal. Mix it all in a blender and down the hatch. I was hungry before the shake, I'm still hungry after the shake but that's all I get until breakfast tomorrow morning.

Protein whey shake for dinner. Some whey protein, some whole milk, some oats and some nuts all blended together. My legs are still incredibly sore from the last squat session. Planning on a run and gym session tomorrow.

As I finish week 2 of dieting and exercising...I am down to the 5th and last notch in my belt....from the 1st. Need to get some more holes in this thing. Today being Saturday is cheat day. Off for some breakfast with my wife. Planning on not going overboard today but bacon is on my agenda.

Trip to the hospital today to get the body checked out. One of the parts of the package was that I had to fast for 12 hours ( I did 16). The salad sandwich was terrible, had the fruit, left the muffin and juice on the plate. For lunch I picked up some Old Beijing noodles and some Chinese dumplings. Way too much dough but polished off, with enough spice many things taste much better.

one of the nice things about attending a Nepalese birthday is the food...even when dieting....it's for the most part incredibly healthy...apart from the sugary desert, loads of cake and loads of whiskey they keep trying to pour into a water glass. I've been good though
