Hi y'all. I wanted to do an #introduction so here goes.

I identify as #Myaamia ( #MiamiTribe ), although I have no hope of enrollment due to the fact that all my ancestors are undocumented, having fled the Rolls when they were created, and so I have no solid proof that I am Myaamia other than some pictures of my Great-Great-Great-Grandfather from 4 generations ago that show her was clearly #Native , that I can't get a hold of and only know about because of stories from my family. #NiceToMeetYou

I’m a settler (nonnative) linguist who works for/with Native people. I have worked with #Algonquian language communities for 14 years, #Ojibwe and #Potawatomi at first, but recently made the shift into #myaamia, who I work am lucky enough to work for.
