Still no power (9:30am Sunday), but heading off-island to Bellevue, WA for a #typeIn at the #BotanicalGardens.

"Hilarious"story. I was in Unity books in Wellington yesterday and saw this book which I have been looking for for ages. Excitedly picked it out of the pile in the "science" section and as I did so, every other book in the section (about 30 of them) slithered off the pedestal onto the floor. It was a book tsunami!
It was like one of those western movies when someone walks into a bar and the music stops playing moments.

Ugh. Just realized sometimes I am guilty of a thing some people call 'sea lioning' - I sometimes feel like I've already said a thing as concisely as I can, so I just rephrase it over and over. But after it's clear I am on a completely different wavelength I try to explain more completely.
